The Gospel Mission Opens South Sioux Thrift Store

The Gospel Mission is excited to announce the opening of our third thrift store location at 1901 Cornhusker Drive, South Sioux City.

The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce will be holding joint Ribbon Cuttings to kick off the day.

Previously the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store, the Gospel Mission acquired the property and all of its contents earlier in August.

“This is an exciting opportunity for us,” says Paul Mahaffie, Executive Director of the Gospel Mission. “Adding this South Sioux City store is all about expanding our efforts to serve an even greater number of people in the community, while sharing the Gospel and allowing God to change hearts and lives.”

The other two locations are at 215 W 6th Street and at 4291 Sergeant Road, both in Sioux City. All three stores are open from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

As a 100% nonprofit organization, every item donated to and dollar spent at the Gospel Mission Thrift Stores goes directly to supporting the Mission in its efforts to meet the needs of the homeless in Siouxland.
