In a season often consumed by commercial distractions, our Christmas event cuts through the noise to focus on what truly matters. Pastor Nate Gates will share a message of hope and encouragement, reminding us all that Christmas began in a stable among the marginalized, and that the Savior born that night came specifically for people who are broken, hurting, and desperate for transformation.
Christ's Love in Word and Action
At The Gospel Mission, we take 1 John 3:17-18 seriously: "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
Every registered guest at our Christmas event will receive a gift bag filled with winter essentials and food items. These aren't just handouts—they're expressions of the practical love of Christ. When someone is cold, hungry, or struggling, theological abstractions mean little. But a warm coat, nutritious food, and the message that God sees them and loves them? That changes everything.
