I grew up on a farm just west of Wakefield, Nebraska, about two and a half miles outside of town. After spending time in Norfolk, I eventually moved back to Wakefield, where I still live today. Since 2017, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the pastor of Grace Christian Church of Wakefield. I share a home with my father and our two dogs, Taco and Abbey, who faithfully keep life interesting.
I’ve sensed the Lord’s call on my life since I was seventeen. The road hasn’t always been easy—marked with struggles and hardship—but every step has been used by God to shape and prepare me for ministry. Working here at the Gospel Mission has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. My new nature in Christ has given me a passion for preaching, and the Lord’s providence has built in me a heart for local missions. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
MY FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
“Do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:34 (AMP)
